Difference between the Managed Hosting and Dedicated Hosting

There is a great deal of difference between the managed hosting and the dedicated web hosting. In dedicated hosting (unmanaged hosting), Internet service provider will look after the configuration of the servers and also on OS installation. It also helps with connecting the network and server and maintaining the server. The client will be looking after the administration of the system and also provide technical support like enhancing the security for the server. Much of the work done by the client in dedicated hosting will be reduced in dedicated hosting, as the ISP performs administration of the system and also provides the technical support. All types of troubleshooting work and security issues are handled by the data center.  An example of this type of hosting service is the Peer 1. This form of web hosting provides a lot of services like security patch deployment work, fire wall works, enhancing or updating hardware and software and so on. The dedicated hosting also performs search engine optimization, security inspections, upgrades the operating system, and provides antivirus protection, and so on.
